Quran Recitation on Vinyl: A Meaningful Gift for Ramadan, Eid and the Home

For many families, the sound of Quran recitation is part of daily life: in the morning, during Ramadan nights, or quietly in the background of a home. Vinyl offers a way to bring that sound into the home in a format that feels deliberate and lasting – something to place on a shelf, play with intention and pass on.

Here is a guide to the Quran and Islamic records in our collection, and who each one suits.

Mishary Rashid Alafasy

Sheikh Mishary Rashid Alafasy (مشاري راشد العفاسي) of Kuwait is one of the most listened-to reciters in the world, admired for his clear, melodious voice.

• Juz Amma & Dua – the thirtieth part of the Quran, containing many of the short surahs that children and new learners memorise first, together with a supplication. A natural choice for families.
• Juz Tabarak – the twenty-ninth part, which opens with Surat Al-Mulk.
• Azkar Al Sabah Wal Masaa – the traditional morning and evening remembrances, ideal for daily routines.

Abdul Rahman Al Sudais

Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al Sudais (عبد الرحمن السديس), imam of the Grand Mosque in Makkah, has a distinctive, heartfelt recitation recognised by Muslims everywhere. His Juz Amma is one of our most popular gifts.

Abdul Basit Abdul Samad

The legendary Egyptian qari Abdul Basit Abdul Samad (عبد الباسط عبد الصمد) is remembered for the power and beauty of his voice. Qesar Al Sowar brings together recitations of the short surahs.

Inspirational songs: Maher Zain

For a gentler, family-friendly listen, Maher Zain: Best Of Live & Acoustic presents his inspirational songs in intimate acoustic arrangements.
